Camp Fire Relief for Gamers

We are no longer accepting direct donations for this – please do not mail any more. However, you CAN continue to donate to the general relief efforts at the bottom of this page.

The Butte County Camp Fire in Northern California was declared 100 percent contained on Saturday Nov 24th after burning 153,336 acres. Destroyed in the fire were 13,972 residences, 528 commercial and 4,293 other buildings. The town of Paradise California was literally wiped off the map.

At least 88 lives were lost as a result of the blaze and three firefighters were injured. This is the worst fire California has ever seen. I cannot even imagine what these people who have lost everything are going through.

Among those residences lost, were the homes and miniatures collections of several 40k/AoS gamers. We have been in contact with them and are going to be spearheading an effort to help at least a few of these players replace some, if not all, of their lost models.

One of the great things about this hobby and this community is it’s ability to pull people together in times of need and lend a helping hand. As we head into the holiday season this year, we hope you can help. We have spoken with a couple of Hobby Vendors and Game Stores that are jumping in to assist, but the work is far from complete!

Below is a list of the players who have lost some or all of their collections in the fires, as well as a little information about each of them. If you want to help out – read on!

You can simply purchase the items from Games Workshop directly and have them sent to Carl Tuttle at the address below, who will ensure they get distributed to the victims as necessary.
